Holiday Teacher Appreciation includes Snowstorm and similar activities currently held by local Parent Service organizations. The purpose of this holiday tradition was founded on the premise of replacing the multiplicity of trinket offering that teachers would historically receive as a gift a ‘thanks’ during the holidays. In lieu of coffee mugs and other like gifting, parents of students may make a small monetary gift de minimis as an offering of thanks to teachers within their own community during the holiday gift giving season.

Gift ranges should not exceed $500.00 to honor the historical intent of the initiative of replacing a trinket gift during the holiday season. Should a family want to make a bonus compensation gift to teachers, please learn more here.

We ask that you please consider first supporting your Academy’s Community Investment campaign before giving to Holiday Appreciation initiatives. Every family’s participation in Community Investment, at any level, is vital to supporting our teachers and students and the educational priorities of each academy.
