The competition started with nearly 3.6 million seniors; 5,200 students were identified as candidates and Amy became 1 of 621 semifinalists from across the country before ultimately being named 1 of 161 Presidential Scholars!
Tristan Gaynor, George Heiler, and Kevin Murphy are all pursuing bachelor of science degrees in finance and supply-chain management. Their third majors are computer information systems for Heiler, business data analytics for Murphy and management for Gaynor. Heiler and Murphy also have minors in real estate.

This is the second time the Veritas Preparatory Academy Middle School Elite Choir earned a Superior rating at the Arizona ACDA Junior High-Middle School Choral Festival, the highest possible rating at the event. Trivium Preparatory Academy's Joselynn Edwards qualified for the Junior Olympics in synchronized swimming and competed at state prior to the Junior Olympics. At state, she won gold in the team event and bronze in individuals. At the Junior Olympics, this summer in Oxford, OH, her team placed 23rd in the nation.
