Great Hearts Academies are pleased to recognize, celebrate, and honor some of the amazing Veterans in our schools who have not only served our country in the military, but have continued to do outstanding work to support the students of Great Hearts.
Pierre Marcos served in the United States Marine Corps for 8 years as a machine gunner in a Combined Anti-Armor Team (CAAT) where one or more platoons are operated in a detached role to conduct reconnaissance missions, combat ground armored vehicles and air defense vehicles with heavy weapons systems. During his service, he was deployed to Iraq for Operation Iraqi Freedom. Marcos left the Marine Corps as a Sergeant. READ MORE >>
