Great Hearts Academies Announces New Build for Anthem Preparatory Academy

Relocated “New Build” Campus of Top-Ranked Network of Tuition-Free Schools Continues Growth

Anthem, Ariz. –Great Hearts Academies is excited to announce an addition to its network of nonprofit public charter schools. The site for an upsized and newly built permanent home for Anthem Preparatory Academy has been selected. The campus will be open in time for the 2022-23 school year.

“With ever-increasing demand across the north part of the Valley, Great Hearts is honored to be able to increase access for families in Anthem,” said Great Hearts Arizona President Erik Twist. “We are thrilled that students  will soon be walking through the doors of a brand new campus, providing them an exceptional setting for world class academics, athletics, and extracurriculars.”

Anthem Preparatory Academy’s new two-story design will include a large gym, football/soccer field, lab rooms, special education rooms, library, and more to serve students in grades K-12. Upon completion, Great Hearts will move the students from the current Anthem Prep Academy to its new location on 10 acres of land on the northeast corner of Gavilan Peak Parkway and Arroyo Norte Drive. The new Anthem site is approximately two miles from the school’s current location.

Anthem Preparatory Academy currently has nearly 750 students in grades K-12 and will grow to close to 1,000 over the next 6 years. For more information and updates on the new build, visit www.greatheartsamerica.org.
