As part of this national celebration, many retailers and businesses across the country are offering freebies, discounts, and special deals exclusively for teachers. These small tokens of appreciation are one way to acknowledge the role teachers play in our society. Macayo’s Mexican Food is offering 20% off all year round for all teachers and school personnel. Show your employee ID to receive 20% off your portion of the bill. Cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts. Not valid on alcohol purchases. Not valid on Cinco de Mayo or Mother’s Day. Other blackout dates may apply. Valid forcardholders only.

Staples is offering teachers who visit between May 4 and May 10 will receive 20% off their in-store purchase with a valid teacher ID, along with a free 12-pack of Tru Red pens. Whataburger is offering FREE Taquito with cheese or Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit from 5-9 a.m. through May 9. Valid school ID required. Good for dine-in, drive-thru and carryout. Original ChopShop is offering teachers 10% off dine-in and to-go orders between May 5 – 9 when they show a valid ID or badge.

SEA Life Arizona Aquarium is celebrating all teachers this June where teachers get FREE ADMISSION and accompanying friends and family get 20% off (excluding Saturdays) from June 1-30. Teachers must show proof of employment in order to qualify for this promotion.
