Open Enrollment for Great Hearts Lake Charles is Happening Now!

We are excited to announce that Open Enrollment for Great Hearts Lake Charles for the inaugural 2027-28 school year is now open! If you are a family in Lake Charles, Louisiana, who is considering a Great Hearts education for your child, we invite you to apply during our Open Enrollment period, now through November 27, 2026.

Great Hearts is built around what matters more. We believe a great education begins with the things that really matter: attention in a distracted world, books in an age of screens, listening amid constant noise, character when so much feels fragmented, and hard work in a world that increasingly looks for shortcuts. Our classical academies give students the time and space to think deeply, pursue knowledge, develop strong character, and discover a lifelong love of learning.

Why Apply During Open Enrollment?

• Applications submitted during Open Enrollment are included in the 2027-28 enrollment lottery.
• Applying during this period provides families with the best opportunity to receive an enrollment offer.

Now is the perfect time to discover this new academy, learn about our classical curriculum, and take the first step toward joining our community committed to Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.

Great Hearts Lake Charles will be located on the campus of St. Luke-Simpson United Methodist Church at 1500 Country Club Road. The expansive campus includes a dedicated education building, full gymnasium, and beautiful outdoor spaces where students will be invited to wonder, think carefully, speak clearly, and grow in virtue.
