North Phoenix Prep’s First Legacy Class Prepares to Graduate

North Phoenix Prep May 22, 2025

This year, North Phoenix Prep will celebrate a meaningful milestone, the graduation of its first group of students to complete their entire K–12 journey within the same Great Hearts community. Thirteen seniors in the Class of 2025 began their academic careers as kindergartners at Archway North Phoenix when its doors first opened in 2012.

These Legacy Students have grown up together, reading classic literature, solving math problems by asking questions, reciting poetry, and engaging in thoughtful dialogue in their Humane Letters seminars. From their earliest handwriting lessons to their final thesis defenses, they’ve been shaped by the principles of a classical liberal arts education.

Their time at North Phoenix Prep is a reflection of perseverance, friendship, and the formation of character. Over the years, they’ve developed not only a shared history, but a shared commitment to wisdom and virtue.

Join us in honoring these seniors:

  • Ian Columbe
  • Andrew Cullins
  • Grayson Knopf
  • Jacob Kurash
  • Zander Luo
  • Jayden Massimiano
  • Marlo Mostow
  • Matthew O’Dowd Ceballos
  • Amar Patel
  • Elizabeth Patterson
  • Connor Schweda
  • Arrin Tagle
  • Maryn Taylor

North Phoenix Prep honors these thirteen students for blazing a trail that others will now follow. Their example is an inspiration to younger students walking the same halls they once did, reminding us all of the power of consistency, community, and a rich education rooted in Truth, Goodness, and Beauty.
