Great Hearts Class of 2025 Earns Over $77 Million in Scholarships

The Great Hearts Class of 2025 have once again demonstrated what is possible when high academic expectations, character formation, and a rich co-curricular life come together through a classical education. With 783 graduates across Arizona and Texas, this year’s outcomes reflect our commitment to prepare students for college as well as a life of purpose beyond their college years.

“After more than two decades, Great Hearts continues to bring Truth, Goodness, and Beauty to students throughout the country, all the while preparing them to attend the very best colleges and universities with a staggering amount of scholarship money,” said Jake Tawney, Chief Academic Officer of Great Hearts.

This senior class collectively earned more than $77 million in merit-based scholarships, the highest amount in the network’s history, with 65% of the graduating class receiving some form of merit aid. These awards really show how much hard work and dedication these students have put in during their years at Great Hearts.

They also produced 43 National Scholars, 11 National Merit Finalists, and 31 National Merit Commended students. Their standardized test performance remained far above national norms, with an average SAT score of 1210, which is 182 points higher than the national average, and an average ACT score of 24.6, exceeding the national average by 3.6 points.

But beyond the measurable results lies something deeper. Through their years at Great Hearts, they have developed intellectual curiosity, a love for Truth, and a commitment to moral character. Our graduates not only excel academically, but they lead with integrity, serve their communities, and thrive in athletics, arts, and extracurricular activities.

As our graduates head off to colleges and universities across the country, they carry with them the virtues and habits formed from years of studying the Great Books, engaging in thoughtful Socratic discussions, and striving for excellence in all they do.

While the numbers are impressive, the real reward is in watching the incredible lives they live and the people they touch along the way. The successes of the Great Hearts class of 2025 demonstrate our purpose of cultivating the minds and hearts of our students, and their achievements continue to inspire the classes that will follow in their footsteps.
