Giving Tuesday – Maryvale Prep

Maryvale Prep is a tight-knit community serving over 1,000 students in grades K-12 this year. Parents like you in connection with our faculty and administration make our school possible. Thank you!

We are so proud of the Class of 2023 and expect all our seniors to graduate in May, including our very own scholar-athlete Angel Rodriguez Gonzalez. Angel has been with us since the school opened 10 years ago and is now a proud member of Maryvale Prep’s second senior class. He plans to attend college next year and study criminal justice.

Angel is grateful for the love, patience, and support shown to him over the years from our dedicated teachers who pour out their hearts to their students both inside and outside of the classroom.

Donations made on Giving Tuesday (11/29/22) help Maryvale Prep’s teachers continue offering excellent Great Hearts education to students like Angel, such as:

• Offering Angel’s favorite class, Humane Letters, which helps our students understand the great classical works and learn how to formulate and communicate their ideas
• Using the Socratic method of teaching to help students understand new points of view and develop critical thinking to challenge the status quo and transform their life’s trajectory
• Supporting our incredible teachers in all K-12 classrooms, including our dedicated ESS teachers
