Visit the content of this iframe at https://www.youtube.com/embed/kMGV1WwQkq4 Archway Scottsdale 1st grader Joanna Chen won Governor Doug Ducey’s Bookmark Design Contest in the K-1 category. Her winning picture was Winnie the Pooh excited to find a jar of “Huny.” The bookmark will be reproduced and distributed to students touring the Arizona State Capitol Executive Tower. Joanna will also get to do a meet and greet with Governor Ducey. The contest encouraged students in grades K-6 to design a bookmark using the theme of, “My Favorite Book.” The drawings were submitted to the Arizona Governor’s Office of Education and three winners were chosen. The bookmark will be reproduced and printed on bookmarks that are distributed to students touring the Arizona State Capitol Executive Tower. Other winners included Celia Goh from Sierra Verde STEM Academy, and Miana Goodwin from Tomahawk Elementary School.
