Giving Tuesday: Meet the Kasraee Family from Archway Cicero

Archway Cicero December 1, 2025

At Archway Cicero, Giving Tuesday is more than just a date on the calendar, it’s a moment to pause and reflect on the incredible difference that our families, teachers, and supporters make every single day.

When you give to Archway Cicero, a 501c3 nonprofit charter school, you’re helping to sustain the mission that makes Great Hearts so special. Your generosity ensures that our students continue to benefit from a rich classical education that shapes not only their minds but also their hearts. Every donation stays right here at our academy and directly supports the teachers, programs, and opportunities that help our students grow into thoughtful, virtuous young people ready to lead lives of purpose and integrity.

Today, we ask that you take a moment to read this testimonial from one of our own families as they share their reasons for choosing Great Hearts and their commitment to giving. These words echo the sentiments of so many of our families and capture exactly why parent partnership is essential to the Great Hearts model.

Kasraee family

The Kasraee family has been part of the Cicero community since 2019 and currently have students enrolled in both Archway and Prep. Parisa Kasraee, explains how they have decided that Cicero continues to be the best option for their family.

“We chose Cicero because it represents much more than academics-it’s a community built around character, integrity, and genuine intellectual curiosity. While we know the classical curriculum is challenging, that’s exactly what makes it so valuable. Our family has stayed at Cicero because we’ve seen how it shapes not only strong students, but thoughtful, kind, and disciplined young people. The teachers truly care, and the environment fosters a love of learning that extends beyond the classroom.”

Over the past six years, the Kasraee family has continued to give of their time, talent, and treasure. Parisa can often be found filling various volunteer roles on our campus, and the family has consistently partnered with Cicero through donations to the Community Investment campaign, contributing their Public School Tax Credit, and have even dedicated a piece of art on behalf of their children, that currently hangs in the halls of Archway.

“We give because we’ve witnessed firsthand the impact of Great Hearts’ mission. The education our children receive at Cicero is deeply personal and transformative, and we want to ensure that experience continues for all families, regardless of financial means. Supporting the Community Investment and Tax Credit campaigns is our way of saying “thank you” for the daily dedication of the faculty and leadership, and investing in the kind of future we believe in-one grounded in virtue and excellence.”

Please extend your gratitude to the Kasraee family, and to all of the families that continue to partner with our community through their donations of time, talent, and treasure. Without your support, we would not be able to continue to provide the academic environment and opportunities that all of our students deserve.

We invite you to join the Kasraee family and us in strengthening the mission that brings our vibrant educational experience to life. Your gift, no matter the size, makes a lasting impact on our students, teachers, and families. Together, we can continue shaping minds and hearts for generations to come.
